LABORATORY QUALITY & DATA ACCURACY
Scientific and Quality Standards
StemBiotech follows healthcare and laboratory best practices for sample processing, storage, and data handling. Analytical results, reports, and documentation are prepared with professional care and in line with accepted scientific standards.
Sample and Result Variations
Biological samples may show natural variation, and outcomes can differ from initial expectations. StemBiotech does not guarantee that preserved stem cells will be suitable or indicated for every future therapy, as clinical eligibility depends on evolving medical guidelines and individual patient factors.
Client Responsibility for Information
Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and updated personal, medical, and contact information. StemBiotech is not liable for delays, reporting issues, or administrative errors arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated information supplied by the client.
Medical Information and Use
Information provided by StemBiotech, including reports and educational materials, is for informational purposes only and does not replace independent medical advice. Treatment decisions must be made by qualified healthcare professionals.
SERVICE LEVELS & STORAGE VARIATIONS
Industry Practices
StemBiotech operates within commonly accepted ranges for sample collection, processing, and cryogenic storage. In rare cases, cell counts or viability may differ from initial expectations due to biological and technical factors.
Adjustments and Credits
If a stored sample does not meet internal criteria for standard processing, StemBiotech may, at its discretion and as outlined in the client agreement, adjust service fees or offer a proportionate credit or alternative option. Any specific quantity or quality requirements must be disclosed and agreed in writing before enrollment.
DOCUMENTATION, REPORTS & CONSENTS
Digital Documentation
Electronic copies of contracts, consents, and non-diagnostic reports may be shared via secure digital channels. These copies are intended to document enrollment details, processing status, and storage confirmation.
Physical Records
Where applicable, certain original documents or signed consent forms may be maintained in physical form according to regulatory and institutional requirements. Access to these records follows privacy, security, and retention policies.
SERVICE TIMELINES
Operational Timeframes
Service timelines, including sample processing, storage confirmation, and issuance of documentation, begin once all required consents, information, and payments have been received and verified. Timeframes may vary based on logistics, medical review, and regulatory requirements.
Limitations
While StemBiotech aims to meet communicated timelines, specific turnaround times are not guaranteed in all circumstances. External factors such as courier delays, clinical conditions at birth, or regulatory reviews may influence timing.
LOGISTICS, SHIPPING & HANDLING
Domestic Logistics
StemBiotech coordinates with approved medical couriers and logistics partners for sample transport within California and other supported regions. For time-sensitive biological materials, validated transport methods and timeframes are used where available.
International or Long-Distance Transport
If international or long-distance shipping is offered, it will be carried out through selected carriers experienced in handling medical and biological materials, subject to applicable regulations and import/export rules.
Liability During Transit
Once a sample or package is transferred to a third-party carrier, the risk of delay, damage, or loss during transit is primarily governed by the carrier’s terms. StemBiotech will make reasonable efforts to support tracking and issue resolution but is not responsible for delays or damage outside its direct control.
GENERAL TERMS
Use of StemBiotech services is subject to the full Terms & Conditions, informed consent documents, and any applicable service agreements. In the event of any inconsistency, the signed client agreement and consent forms will prevail to the extent permitted by law.
